1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 5/8/12:

0700-0730: INTRODUCTIONS & ASSISTANCE

We begin with roundtable introductions. Tell us a bit about yourself and any networking needs. Chances are good that someone in the group will be able to offer referrals, advice, job search assistance, or other help with your networking needs.

Paul Vacarrelli will talk with us about personal computer maintenance and repair. He is currently General Manager of PC-911, LLC, which provides PC and technology support for residential and business customers. Mr. Vacarrelli has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, data center management, customer and associate training, technical services, and business applications programming and design. He has held information systems management positions for a variety of prominent companies such as Adam Aircraft.

Thanks to Kurt Schlaefer (USAFA '70) for arranging to have Mr. Vacarrelli speak with us this week.

To register, please visit https://www1.usafa.org/Events/Register.aspx?id=325

Thanks to Bob Fretzs (USAFA '71) for passing along this item.

4. RECENT TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH BIZNET POSTS:

Hopefully the recent issues with formatting and erroneous posts are now behind us. Guess we'll find out when this post goes out today. :) It started with an unannounced upgrade by Google to their e-blogger tool which we use, which changed some default settings for formatting. Think we have that one figured out now. As to how it also resulted in an old post from January being sent again...don't know. That old post was regarding a request for proposals (RFP) by Bill Sumner. Please disregard that, as Bill did get what he needed. My apologies to Bill for any resulting hassles with inquiries on that.

===================================================

Have a great week.
