Corrected start time for this week's BizNet meeting at DMNS

This is a correction, as some sections of this week's post had the wrong start time for Tuesday's BizNet meeting (17 July) at DMNS.  The correct start time is 0730.  

1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 17 JULY 2018:

Meet at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS).

Meeting will start at 0730 instead of our usual 0700,

The museum is located at 2001 N. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80205.  From the front of the museum, enter at the glass door marked Staff & Volunteer entrance located just to the left of the member exit.  This will take you to security.  Check in there and they will give you instructions on how to proceed to the Harry T. Lewis Community Room located on the 3rd Floor – West Atrium.

Complimentary breakfast will be provided.

Agenda:

7:30 – 8:00 AM       Breakfast/remarks by museum president George Sparks (USAFA '70)
8:00 – 9:00 AM       Behind the Scenes Tour: Zoology/Earth Sciences

2. SPEAKER SCHEDULE:

17 July (this week):  Meeting at DMNS - see above.

24 July:  Denise Liebetrau with Prosper Consulting, LLC will speak on the topic "Maximize Your Pay Through Effective Negotiation."  This meeting will be back at our usual time and location -- 0700 at the Embassy Suites on East Hampden.

Service Academy BizNet of Denver meets weekly on Tuesdays at 0700, in the Embassy Suites hotel at 7525 East Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO 80231.  From I-25, exit at Hampden, then proceed east for 1 mile, where the hotel will be on your left.  Parking at the hotel is free. Look for us in the 14'ers Room, which is to your left as you enter the hotel's central atrium.  RSVP is not required. Dress is casual. Attendance is open to graduates of the federal service academies (USAFA, USCGA, USMA, USMMA, USNA). There are no dues or fees.  Our schedule, roster, and other information are posted at www.academybiznet.org.  Sign up (free) by following the instructions on the home page, to receive communications via our blog and email.
