1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 2/1/11:

After announcements and other routine items, we'll go to roundtable introductions and other discussion on items of interest. As always, we'll give particular attention to any networking needs to see how we can help. During introductions, feel free to go a bit more in depth than usual, as the Open Forum is a great chance to bring everyone up to speed on what's new for you personally or professionally.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Senior Staff. ReqID 186053BR

Required Skills: Must have 14+ years of antenna or antenna related experience. Strong communication skills. Education and experience commensurate with that of a technical lead capable of leading small teams. Capable of assuming a study lead role in analyses and coordinating the efforts with other subject matter experts. Able to participate in assessments of architecture alternatives, including design enhancements, and table-tops.

Desired Skills: Extensive experience designing, building, and testing flight antennas. Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities. Knowledge of the SAP system for non-conformance resolution. Certified CPE.

Specific Job Description: The successful candidate will function as an IPT lead for the MSP Antenna Group. The candidate will be primarily responsible for study tasks as well as modifications to existing designs as well as supporting the mainline program efforts. S/he will execute trade studies, and be responsible for the validity of those trades. S/he will need to be willing to mentor the CPEs and will help the CPEs with overflow tasks when task/resource issues appear. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with other support groups both internal and external to program and will be POC for any requirements resolution issues.

Standard Job Description: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI.

Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.

Service Academy BizNet of Denver meets weekly on Tuesdays at 0700 in the Marriott Hotel at the Denver Tech Center. From I-25, exit Belleview east, then north on Syracuse Street. The Marriott lots are paid parking (approx $2-4), but you can park for FREE across the street at Garcia's Restaurant (we have their permission). Look for us in the seating area inside the Marriott's coffee shop. RSVP is not required. Dress is casual. Attendance is open to graduates of the federal service academies (USAFA, USCGA, USMA, USMMA, USNA). Our schedule, roster and other information are posted on the web site at www.academybiznet.org
