Agenda for Tuesday, 2/12/13

1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 2/12/13:

0700-0800:  OPEN FORUM
This week we devote the entire hour to your topics for discussion.  As always, we'll give particular attention to any networking needs you might have, as there's a good chance we can help.  Grab some coffee and join us for stimulating discussion, strong camaraderie, and good networking with your fellow grads.

2. UPCOMING TUESDAY SPEAKERS/PROGRAMS:

-- 2/12/13 (this week):  Open Forum
-- 2/19/13:  LTC Scott Sherman (USMA '92) will provide an overview of the mission of the Colorado National Guard.  LTC Sherman is a fulltime guardsman in the state G3 office.  He recently completed his battalion command of 3-157 Field Artillery, where he oversaw the transition of the battalion's weapon system from MLRS to HIMARS.
-- 2/26/13:  Bill Sumner (USMA '78) will provide a mini-seminar on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).   Bill is a neural psychologist, skilled in the latest in advanced neural technology.  He will talk about troubling developments in the standards for diagnosis of PTSD, and how the military and veteran support communities fall short in addressing it.  You will come away from this talk with very specific tools that will allow you to begin to ameliorate the symptoms and better understand this misunderstood condition in a radically different way.

If you'd like to invite a speaker or lead a discussion on any future Tuesday, just let me know at panicciaj@aol.com.
