0700-0730: Introductions & Assistance
Our main focus is your networking needs, but we also encourage any personal updates or brief discussions on topics of interest.  We can help with referrals, advice, job search assistance, and general networking.     

0730-0800: Speaker
Biznet memeber Chuck Franceschi (USAFA '79) will talk about an often-overlooked VA benefit known as Aid & Attendance. Chuck is a volunteer advocate with U.S. Senior Vets (USSV). USSV provides a number of important services, including assitance with the claim process for the Aid & Attendance program.   www.usseniorvets.com

2. SPEAKER SCHEDULE:


6/17/14 (this week):  Chuck Franceschi - see above.

6/24/14: Ed Herlik will talk with us about Vets4Biz, which is a nonprofit that accurately measures an organization's culture, then matches them up with qualified veterans who align best with their specific culture and needs. www.vets4biz.org

7/1/14:  Nick Reisdorf (USMA '89) will speak on U.S. security in Asia, with specific focus on China.  Nick's roles included Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Attache, and Country Director (China) with Pacific Command.  He also served on DoD negotiating teams for China security issues. 

7/8/14:  Lisa Haas will talk about her Social Media Training Program.  Her company provides social media set-up, training, and management programs designed to give business owners solid knowledge about the world of social marketing.

Service Academy BizNet of Denver meets weekly on Tuesdays at 0700, in the Marriott Hotel at the Denver Tech Center. From I-25, exit Belleview east, then turn north onto Syracuse Street. The Marriott lots are paid parking (approx $2-4), however you can park for FREE across the street at Garcia's Restaurant (we have their permission). Look for us in the seating area inside the Marriott's coffee shop. RSVP is not required. Dress is casual. Attendance is open to graduates of the federal service academies (USAFA, USCGA, USMA, USMMA, USNA). There are no dues or fees.
