Agenda for Tuesday, 6/17/14

0700-0730: Introductions & Assistance
Our main focus is your networking needs, but we also encourage any personal updates or brief discussions on topics of interest.  We can help with referrals, advice, job search assistance, and general networking.

0730-0800: Speaker
Biznet memeber Chuck Franceschi (USAFA '79) will talk about an often-overlooked VA benefit known as Aid & Attendance. Chuck is a volunteer advocate with U.S. Senior Vets (USSV). USSV provides a number of important services, including assitance with the claim process for the Aid & Attendance program.

6/17/14 (this week):  Chuck Franceschi - see above.

6/24/14: Ed Herlik will talk with us about Vets4Biz, which is a nonprofit that accurately measures an organization's culture, then matches them up with qualified veterans who align best with their specific culture and needs.

7/1/14:  Nick Reisdorf (USMA '89) will speak on U.S. security in Asia, with specific focus on China.  Nick's roles included Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Attache, and Country Director (China) with Pacific Command.  He also served on DoD negotiating teams for China security issues.

7/8/14:  Lisa Haas will talk about her Social Media Training Program.  Her company provides social media set-up, training, and management programs designed to give business owners solid knowledge about the world of social marketing.

If you'd like to schedule a speaker (or lead a discussion yourself) for any future Tuesday morning, please send a note to George Jenkins, at

Have a great week.

Joe Paniccia (USMA '84)
