0730-0800:  SPEAKER/PROGRAM

Greg Palka (USMA '86) will talk about the business side of an opportunity such as LifeVantage.  In addition to his involvement with LifeVantage, Greg is head of a financial planning company.
Thanks to Kurt Schlaefer (USAFA '70) for arranging this speaker for us .

Here's a bio on Greg:

Greg is an expert in the preservation of client assets and the distribution of those assets to their heirs. Greg pulls “drowning” people – people who are buffeted by the volatility in the market — into safe harbor, where their money is protected and safe, and where they can enjoy the security of guaranteed income for life.  Greg’s focus is on eliminating market risk, minimizing the taxes on wealth and Social Security alike, and protecting your hard-earned assets from the ravages of long term care expenses. He is also well versed on the multi-generational IRA, which allows clients to pass on their wealth to multiple generations, minimize the taxation on that wealth, and avoid the challenges of “splitting heirs” when that wealth is passed on.  Furthermore, he has safe alternatives for people who find that their CDs, or “certificates of disappointment” aren’t providing a rate of return they can live with or live on.

Greg is a Denver native who graduated from West Point in 1986 with a degree in Math Sciences.  He also holds a Masters degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.  Greg served the constitution and the country for 22 years.  He was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer and served tours in the 2nd Infantry Division, the 101st Airborne Division, 4th Infantry Division, III Corps Artillery, and Army Space and Strategic Command.  Greg is a veteran of the Cold War, the first Gulf War, and the most recent conflict in Iraq. His service decorations include the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star.

Greg is an accredited member of the BBB and has passed the rigorous scrutiny necessary to be approved by the National Ethics Bureau. He is the proud father of eight wonderful children.  He and his family love to camp, bike, hike and ski together.  Greg is active in his church and faith life, and volunteers as a scout leader, coach, and mentor to small business owners.

2. UPCOMING SPEAKERS/PROGRAMS:
