Our permanent meeting location is now the Embassy Suites Denver Southeast, at 7525 East Hampden Avenue, Denver, CO 80231.

Parking is free.  We meet in the Fourteener's Room.  Upon entering the hotel, proceed straight ahead to the large central atrium.  As you enter that area, the Fourteener's Room will be on your left.

Optional buffet-style breakfast is available for purchase, but is not a condition of attendance.  To purchase the breakfast, pay at the front desk.  Let them know you're with the Academy Biznet group, as that will get you the discounted breakfast prices -- $9.95 for the full hot breakfast, and $5.95 for cold breakfast.

3.  BATTLE OF MIDWAY - 75th ANNIVERSARY:

While the battle spanned several days, the events of 4 June 1942 (75 years ago today) were the most pivotal.  Here's a brief article from today's Washington Post, highlighting the extreme sacrifices by the torpedo squadrons that were decimated by the Japanese, but which arguably made possible the astounding success of the dive bombers that followed.
