3.  RECENT HEIGHTENED SECURITY AT WEST POINT:

The article at this link has been making the rounds among West Point class sites:   https://www.superstation95.com/index.php/world/625

It does appear there was a specific threat of some sort at West Point last weekend.  Here's a more recent posting from the Supe, on the Facebook page of the West Point Garrison Community.
To the West Point Community,

Thank you for your patience, vigilance, and understanding during recent increases in security measures, which affected access to our installation. As Superintendent, I am charged with the responsibility to protect this community and provide a safe and secure installation. Part of that responsibility is to act upon intelligence or law enforcement information in a way that best serves this community. The actions we took on Sunday were a result of that responsibility.

We take operational security very seriously, therefore we will not discuss specific threats or how long these security measures will remain in effect. Recent events, abroad and at home, have shown us the need to take prudent steps to ensure our force protection posture can be increased both quickly and effectively.

You should expect force protection adjustments like this to be the new norm. We will, as much as possible, communicate with you ahead of, during, or immediately following such actions, most likely via social media- West Point Garrison and Community on Facebook and on Twitter @USAGWestPoint. However, to ensure we effectively execute our force protection mission, random antiterrorism measures must be conducted at an unpredictable frequency, rather than in response to a specific threat.

If you see something, say something. Report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement authorities, which on West Point is 845-938-3333. Again, thank you for your patience and support. Please continue to be vigilant and look out for each other. Your help is a key.

Beat Navy!

Bio for our speaker this week -- Jonathan Manske

Biznetters,

Here's more background on our speaker for tomorrow morning - Jonathan Manske.  Hope you'll join us.

Bio:

Jonathan Manske, the World’s Only Cerebral Sanitation Engineer, has been studying people, potential, and performance for over 20 years. He helps people to take out their head trash. Jonathan’s passion is to help people to do better, upgrade their consciousness and beliefs about themselves, and love their lives and careers.
Nobody wants to be mediocre, under-perform, or not live up to their potential. Nobody wants to be frustrated, desperate, or fearful. But so many people are.
People want to do better, be better, perform better, and experience greater happiness and fulfillment. But instead of making progress in these areas, they seem to be stuck and even sabotaging their progress and they don’t know why. This leads to frustration, disappointment, loss of inspiration, and self-anger.
Most (if not all) of this is due to the fact that the tools and strategies that people are using in their attempt to do better are ineffective, defective, or even damaging ~ thus making it nearly impossible to do better.
Jonathan doesn’t just speak, he trains. Every presentation includes easy to use tools and strategies that actually do work to help people to do better. This is practical stuff that people can immediately put into practice and start creating the positive change they want to experience.
In addition to doing individual and group coaching, Jonathan is also the author of: The Law of Attraction Made Simple, A Great Life Does Not Happen By Accident, The Motivation Myth, and soon to be released, Quit Trying To Carve The Turkey With A Butter Knife.
