3.  GRAD SEEKING ASSISTANCE:

Don Sherrill (USNA '01) is conducting an immediate job search in the Front Range area.  See below for his thoughts on his target position, followed by his resume.  If you can offer advice, referrals, or other assistance, please contact Don directly at dcsherrill@hotmail.com, or on his mobile phone at 919-670-7999.

What does the ideal job deal with?  One or more of the following:  microgrid, renewables, energy storage, distributed generation, smart grid, improved transmission/distribution infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) and related infrastructure, traditional and electric bicycle utilization, shared transportation, sustainability, commuter/high speed rail, new urbanism, sustainable/urban agriculture, improving public education (in all areas), public policy, etc.

What is my role in this ideal job?  Leading change.  Solving big problems.  Having a voice at the table.  Making a company or city smarter and more efficient.  I'm not a guy who needs a particular title in my life, but I want a level of responsibility, flexibility, creativity, and horsepower to get my job done.  I don't mind a little travel, but I don't want to be a road warrior and away from my family all the time.

Where is this ideal job?  We love the vibe in Colorado Springs, but Denver and Boulder are fine too.  They've just got more expensive housing and more traffic to contend with.  Ft Collins gets good reports, but I haven't spent any time there.
