Nick Reisdorff (USMA '89) will speak on U.S. security in Asia, with specific focus on China. Nick's past roles included Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Attache, and Country Director (China) with Pacific Command. He also served on DoD negotiating teams for China security issues.

Current Job Postings at USMA

The Association of Graduates has several current job postings.

 Temporary Sales Associate

The incumbents in these positions will report directly to the Gift Shop Manager.  They will be responsible for the overall appearance of the store, stocking of merchandise, customer service and in-store, telephonic, and internet sales.

The individuals may work at off-site events to include Class Reunions, Reception Day, Acceptance Day, etc. at West Point.  Also, they will need to be available to work football games and during our busy holiday season.  The incumbents must be able to work occasional nights and weekends.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communications, proficiency in MS office applications required.  Customer service and cashier experience would be helpful.  The incumbents must be responsible, personable and quick learners.  A valid driver’s license is required and knowledge of West Point is a plus.  Please submit cover letter, resume, and letters of reference.  See more


Assistant Director, Annual Giving and WPAOG Parent Relations

The WPAOG is seeking an Assistant Director for their Annual Giving Program to secure donations for the United States Military Academy.  USMA is renowned as one of the world's preeminent leader development institutions.  The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400 and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. This position reports directly to the WPAOG’s Senior Director of Annual Giving.

 Major Gifts Officer

West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to provide professional support to the Development Team.
The incumbent’s responsibilities include:  identifying  potential major donors; evaluating those identified; cultivating targeted individuals; preparing solicitations for those individuals; soliciting them with volunteer leadership assistance, if necessary; and ensuring that proper recognition is given to those who donate.  Throughout this cycle, the Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the management of 100 potential or actual major donors.  Planned gifts are also solicited whenever appropriate, based upon the donor’s philanthropic plans/needs.  This position reports to the Director of Major Gifts.

Development Intern

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a Development Intern.  This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Development Engagement.
The incumbent in this position will be responsible for assisting staff with creating thank you letters using mail merges, updating the campaign website, and data entry in Raiser’s Edge.  In addition, they will interview and write short web and social media pieces on Academy activities and donor profiles. They will review Planned Giving files and create summary pages, scan wills and trusts into PDF’s and put them in Raiser’s Edge, and provide general administrative assistance as needed (e.g.:  answering phones, copying, filing, etc.).  Also, the incumbent will fill in for various staff members of Development....   See more

He seeks to educate the public on dog behavior, socialization, and rehabilitation so that owners are able to train in a more effective, humane manner. Sean actively promotes the health benefits of training animal companions for those suffering with physical and emotional ailments.
