Agenda for Tuesday, 12/14/10

1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 12/14/10:

0700-0800: OPEN FORUM. We'll discuss topics of general interest while also assisting with job searches, business advice, referrals, and any other networking needs. The Open Forum is also a great opportunity to give an expanded introduction if you so choose, to share any updates on your personal or professional situation.

2. UPCOMING PROGRAMS:

12/21/10: Open Forum. Holiday week, but we will meet as usual.

3. ITEM OF INTEREST - Local USMA Grad Interviewed on NPR:

This past week, Colonel Chris Petty (USMA '87), along with his wife and son, were interviewed for the Colorado Matters program on National Public Radio. COL Petty previously commanded an aviation battalion in Iraq and now lives in Parker. Some of you will recall that he spoke at one of our quarterly West Point Society of Denver dinners some time ago. Service Academy BizNet of Denver meets every Tuesday at 0700 in the Marriott Hotel at the Denver Tech Center. From I-25, exit Belleview east, then north on Syracuse Street. The Marriott lots are paid parking (approx $2-4), but you can park for FREE across the street at Garcia's Restaurant (we have their permission). Look for us in the reserved seating area inside the Marriott's coffee shop. RSVP is not required. Dress is casual. Attendance is open to graduates of the federal service academies (USAFA, USCGA, USMA, USMMA, USNA). Our schedule, roster and other information are posted on the web site at www.academybiznet.org
