4.  VETERAN HIRING EVENT - Nov 5, Wheat Ridge:

Thanks to Biznet member Dave Jackson (USMA '73) for forwarding this item from the Jeffco Workforce Investment Board (WIB):

We would like to invite you to visit the Add-a-Vet Academy being held November 4th – the 6th.
The event will host approximately 28 companies and nearly 80 Veterans seeking employment. The Academy details are below but this is a great opportunity for WIB members to see the American Job Center in action. On Tuesday November 5th from 10-2 p.m. veterans will be interviewing for positions with the companies participating. If you can attend at all this would be a great time to do so!
If you can attend in lieu of the WIB meeting please take a minute and thank the participating businesses. We are incredibly impressed with the response we have received from our community businesses and want to thank them for making an effort to hire those who have diligently served our country.
We are excited to see the results and look forward to sharing event highlights with you in December for those that cannot attend.
