Thanks to Kurt Schlaefer (USAFA '70) for arranging to have Lisa speak with us this week.

2. SPEAKER SCHEDULE:

7/8/14 (this week):  Lisa Haas - see above.

7/15/14: TBD. This date is available. If there's a speaker you'd like to schedule for this date or any other Tuesday morning, please send a note to George Jenkins (georgedjenkins4@gmail.com) or Joe Paniccia (panicciaj@aol.com).

7/22/14: Matt Glass will give an industry update on the Information Technology (IT) sector. Matt manages major accounts for TekSystems, which is a leading provider of consulting services for technology companies. Biznet job seekers in particular will benefit from Matt's perspective and advice regarding the landscape of today's technology industry.

3.  ITEM OF INTEREST - USA Today Article:  "Raytheon's $70,000 Magic Bullet"

Here's a recent article which fellow artillerymen might find particlularly interesting.  It's written from a business/investing perspective, but nonetheless interesting for the insight into the impact of technology on today's weapon systems and strategies.
