3.  VETERANS PASSPORT TO HOPE - Wed, 11 Nov 2015:

BizNet member Shane Schmutz (USMA '01) writes as follows:

Do something meaningful this Veteran's Day.  Show your support to those who've made it possible for you and your family to enjoy their freedoms and our way of life.

I've asked my my friend, CPL Daniel Riley to speak at this year's Veteran's Passport To Hope Gala.  He's a true inspiration and I feel that anyone hearing him speak will not only be moved by his words, but, will leave having more appreciation for the sacrifices that young men and women have been making in the name of freedom since the dawn of our great country.

You'll hear an inspirational speech, listen to great live music by BUCKSTEIN, enjoy drinks, catered food, and a silent & live auction.

4.  ITEM OF INTEREST TO BIZNET BUSINESS OWNERS & OTHERS:

BizNet member Kurt Schlaefer (USAFA '70) is a vehicle broker, who writes as follows, regarding hard-to-find low mileage cargo vans that he has available.  Kurt can be reached at kschlaefer@centleasing.com.

FOR ANYONE WITH A NEED:
Especially Plumbers, HVAC folks, Electricians, and other Technicians.
I've even had people convert these to campers.
Most available used cargo vans have over 100k miles on them once the previous owner is done with them.

They're all the same, equipment-wise, except for miles and they'll all be inspected, reconditioned, and ready to go before sale.  I can provide excellent loans and leases on these and handle any trades as well.

They're all white with gray cloth 2012 Ford E250's with 50k to 80k miles off-lease with -
1. Side Sliding door - not the side barn doors that catch the wind and are difficult in tight alleys.
2. 5.4L gas V8 (instead of the smaller 4.6L V8's) to carry heavier loads or tow.
3. No side or rear windows - for security.
4. Metal Bins and Bulkhead for tool storage etc and cargo separation from driver and passenger.
5. Air Conditioning, but no power windows or locks to break.

See exterior photo below - other photos available on request.  Call or email me if interested.  When completely reconditioned these vans retail for between $17k and $19.5k.  For Academy Biznet Members who contact me, these are available at between $16k and $18k.

Best,
Kurt

Kurt can be reached at kschlaefer@centleasing.com.
