Weekly News & Agenda for Tuesday, 9 April 2019

1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 9 APRIL 2019:

0700-0800:  Introductions, Assistance, and Open Forum Networking

During introductions, tell us a bit about yourself and any networking needs. We can help with referrals, advice, job search assistance, and other networking.  We welcome topics for general discussion as well.

2. SPEAKER SCHEDULE:

9 April:  Open Forum Networking

16 April:  TBD or Open Forum Networking

23 April:  Bob Fretzs (USAFA '71) will give a talk on the unique opportunity that the recent tax law changes present for Roth IRA conversions and similar tax diversification strategies.

If you have a speaker in mind for an upcoming Tuesday, or would like to lead a discussion yourself, just let me know, at PanicciaJoe@gmail.com.

3.  JOB OPPORTUNITY:

Terence Andre (USAFA '87) writes as follows.  If interested, or for more information, please contact Terence directly.

TiER1 is interested in someone with an Industrial/Organization Psychology background (social science research creds). And deep Army SME experience. Much of this is focused on Army leadership training (especially critical/strategic thinking skills). We aren’t putting an “ad” out for this – we prefer to have “recruitment conversations” with people in our network and find out if they are a fit, in general, for TiER1.

Could be located anywhere (but being here or in the DC/Virginia area or near Ft Benning or Ft Leavenworth would be a plus).

Terence
