Agenda & News - Tuesday, 9 Nov 2010

1. Agenda for: Tuesday 9th November (2010-11-09)

0700-0730: INTRODUCTIONS & ASSISTANCE
Roundtable introductions, job search assistance, business advice, referrals, and other networking assistance.

0730-0800: PROGRAM
Our speaker this week is Kimberly Hessler, a Certified Career Coach and founder/CEO of Homeland Security Careers (www.hshdcareers.com). She provides classes on this topic in conjunction with the Airman and Family Readiness Centers at both Peterson AFB and USAFA. Thanks to Dick Eason (USNA '84) for arranging to have Kimberly speak with us this week.

2. Upcoming Programs

11/16/10: Open Forum. We've had a great run of outstanding speakers for 9 consecutive weeks, so on the 16th we'll take a breather and give everyone the opportunity to share what's new in your world (especially any networking needs, of course), or simply discuss topics of general interest.

3. Additional Information

FREE CHOW FOR VETERANS THIS WEEK:

Happy Veteran's Day to all fellow veterans! Thank you for your service.

Many restaurants and organizations are honoring veterans this week by offering free entrees or entire meals. Here's a MOAA page that lists several: http://moaablogs.org/message/2010/10/free-meals-for-vets-this-veterans-day/

=================================

Have a great week.
