Agenda for Tuesday, 2/7/12

1. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 2/7/12:

0700-0730: INTRODUCTIONS & ASSISTANCE

During roundtable introductions we invite you tell us what you're up to these days, with special focus on anything we might be able to help with, such as referrals, advice, job search assistance, or any other networking needs. Chances are good that someone in the group can help directly or refer you to someone in the network who can.

0730-0800: PROGRAM/SPEAKER

BizNet member Leo DeGreef (USAFA '79) will lead a discussion on our tools and strategies for BizNet communication and basic information sharing, with particular focus on our roster. Currently we have 2 rosters -- the one on the main BizNet site, and also the Google Docs roster set up for us by Dave Jackson (USMA '73) to address security concerns. We intended the Google Docs roster to be the single solution, but some challenges remain with visibility and accessibility. Better communication might overcome most of those concerns, but whatever the strategy, we'd like to have a single roster that is both secure and easily accessible for our members.

Leo has good ideas on other BizNet communication strategies also, and we'd love to hear your thoughts, so grab some coffee and join us Tuesday morning.

2. UPCOMING TUESDAY PROGRAMS:

2/7/12 (this week): Leo DeGreef (USAFA '79) -- see above.

2/14/12: TBD/Open Forum. If there's a speaker you'd like to invite for this date or any future Tuesdays, or if you'd like to lead a discussion yourself, just let me know (panicciaj@aol.com) and we'll get it onto the schedule.

Have a great week.
