Weekly News & Agenda for Tuesday, 17 December 2019

1.  SEEKING A NEW BIZNET FACILITATOR:

We're still looking for a new facilitator for the Denver BizNet group as I've decided to move on from that role effective at the end of this year.  If you're interested in picking up this role, please let me know, at PanicciaJoe@gmail.com.

Please consider taking up the torch to keep this valuable forum going -- it has met weekly, without interruption, for more than 23 years (since 1996).

This is an opportunity for someone to reboot the group in some form after the end of this year. You could continue it as a weekly in-person forum, or change to a different meeting frequency, or revert to a virtual-only approach via the LinkedIn group. Many possibilities, and an opportunity for someone to continue our simple mission of grads helping grads.

Beginning in January, if a new facilitator has not been identified, the facilitation (including this weekly blog post/email, facilitation of the weekly Tuesday meeting, responses/coordination of requests for assistance, etc.) will discontinue, although members could certainly choose to keep meeting on your own at the Embassy Suites on Tuesday mornings if you wish.  You could also consider attending the BizNet group in Colorado Springs, which meets on the same day of week and time (Tuesdays, 0700-0800) as we've been meeting here in Denver.  They meet at Jason's Deli on North Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs.

2. AGENDA FOR TUESDAY, 17 DECEMBER 2019:

0700-0800:  Introductions. Assistance, and Open Forum Discussion.

During introductions, tell us a bit about yourself and any networking needs. We can help with referrals, advice, job search assistance, and other networking.  We also welcome topics of general interest for discussion.

3. SPEAKER SCHEDULE:

17 December:  Open Forum Networking

24 December:  TBD or Open Forum Networking.  We will still meet during the holiday period.

31 December:  TBD or Open Forum Networking.  Possibly the final Denver BizNet meeting after 23+ years.

If you have a speaker in mind for an upcoming Tuesday, or would like to lead a discussion yourself, just let me know, at PanicciaJoe@gmail.com.

Have a great week.  And congrats to Navy!  Good luck to both Navy and Air Force in their upcoming bowl games.
